The programme aims to plant 3 crore plants before the last date. Assam government regularly works on environmental conservation and community engagement in the state. Now the ABA 2.0 initiative has been started In the state. Through promoting commercial tree plantation the government is taking a significant step towards enhancing the availability of raw materials to the wood-based industries thereby attracting investment in the wood-based industry sector, and creating new employment opportunities for the people of Assam.

Amrit Brikshya Andolan {2.0} Registration 2024 – ABA Assam 2.0 Initiative
Amrit Brikshya Andolan Govt Of Assam has given a positive value to every resident of Assam. In the previous year, over 48 lakh beneficiaries registered themselves through the mobile app and official website. So the government has renewed the Amrit Brikshya Andolan {2.0} Registration through the “Jan Bhagidaari” model. The Registration and renewals will be open until July 29 2024. Now from 15th July to 29th July 2024, seedlings will be dispatched from forest nurseries to stocking points. After that, from 28 July to 12 August, the plants will be dispatched from stock points to distribution points from where the beneficiaries can collect the plants for seedlings. After 12th August the citizens can plant the trees and can upload the selfies on the official website.

- Free Seedlings – Free Seedlings will be provided to every participant.
