To prevent and control major Non-Communicable Diseases, the government of India has announced the ncd.nhp.gov.in login registration to control diseases like Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Stroke (NPCDCS) in all States across the country. For that government focuses on improving the infrastructure, developing of human resources, emphasizing health promotion, population-based screening (age 30 years and above) early diagnosis, management, and referral.
To Improve at the district level and below under NPCDCS, all states are given financial support from the NHM Department. Under this process, the center-to-state share in a ratio of 60:40 (except for NE and Hilly States, where the share is 90:10)

As India is experiencing a rapid health transition with a rising burden of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) surpassing the burden of Communicable diseases like water-borne or vector-borne diseases, TB, HIV, etc. Non-communicable diseases like Cardiovascular diseases, Cancer, Chronic Respiratory Diseases, Diabetes, and other NCDs are estimated to account for 63% of all deaths. It directly impacts the death ratio across the country.
Currently, diseases like Cancer, Cardiovascular, Diabetes, etc. are increasing rapidly. So to control such diseases, the government of India decided the ncd.nhp.gov.in login registration for all citizens which helps the medical department to provide enough doses for the citizens.
NCD NHP Portal 2024
NCD NHP Portal is developed in collaboration with MoHFW. It collects all the data of the patients which helps doctors to understand the root of the disease. ASHA/ANM is a web-based software for PHC, CHC, and DH-level facilities. This portal started in April 2018, and till 20 January 2024, it trained 1,08,714 Health Professionals on NCD Applications across Pan India, total enrolment (30+) through NCD. Application is 54.31 crore and 14.40 crore were screened and their record maintained in NCD application (including State sending aggregate data through API).
