- Crop loan waiver under this scheme will not be applicable to loans of Self Help Groups (SHGs), Joint Liability Groups (JLGs), Ritu Mitra Groups (RMGs), and LICS.
- A new IT portal for farmers will be launched by the Agriculture Department and NIC.
- The loan to be waived off will also include the principal amount and interest up to December 12 last year.
