Karnataka Shuchi Scheme 2024
Karnataka Health Department has decided to start a new initiative Shuchi Scheme Karnataka 2024 to promote menstrual hygiene. Girl students of all government and aided schools and colleges will be given 10 sanitary napkins in a kit when they have periods.
Girl students from poor families who are unable to take care of their menstrual hygiene due to being economically weak will be provided free sanitary napkins to approximately 19 lakh female students of Karnataka.

State Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao has now started the Karnataka Shuchi Scheme Registration 2024 process for adolescent girls whose ages are above 10 years and below 18 years and who belong to the economically weaker section.
